Since I reverted to Islam while I was living in Japan, I actually have never been to a Jummah prayer at a mosque. In fact, I have been to a mosque one time, and that was for my wedding. The mosque we went to in Japan was quite far from our house (over an hour by train) and it was so small that it actually wasn't open everyday. The imam there lives upstairs and opens the mosque when someone calls and asks him to.
I have been to Bangladesh a few times, but I haven't been to any mosques here simply because I stand out too much and it is really difficult for me to go anywhere without people crowding around and staring at me. Not really a good atmosphere for praying. So I do all my praying at home. However, I plan to attend the mosque that is nearest us when we move to the US.
Therefore, I'm wearing what I think would be appropriate. The cargo pants are loose and comfortable, as is the long sleeve t-shirt. This is my favorite scarf, bought at one of those "Indian shops" in Japan.
This hijab style is something I'm planning to do a tutorial on later, it is very simple and easy to do, plus it offers a lot of versatility with the chest coverage because you have a long end to work with. This is actually the same style I'm wearing in my Work Wear post, but with different accessories.

The hijab style is beautiful! And that's so crazy about not being able to go to a Masjid, SubhanAllah sometimes we take it for granted. Loved this post :)
That's awesome, when are you off to the US? :)

Thank you so much!
We are hoping to leave for the U.S. around June 21st inshahallah. I'm really looking forward to being back in an English-speaking country! Haha.
