Working Girl

So, after last week's denim skirt fiasco, I decided to go with a more classic office outfit, namely plain trousers, blouse, and cardigan. To my surprise and delight, I discovered that the "pretty scarf I love but doesn't go with anything" scarf actually matched the cardigan almost exactly! It's been a while since I busted out the pink and peach, so it was high past time to get girly.




I'm still not sure what the staff's overall reactions are to my wearing the head scarf at the school, but every week so far I've gotten compliments from the adult students, and the kids are getting used to it. The first time I wore it, one of the little girls asked me why I was wearing it and said I should take it off! Haha. She's five.

I'm waiting to hear from the school board for the public schools I teach at during the week. Will I be allowed to wear a head scarf while teaching in the public school? Only time will tell.

o gosh! good luck with the staff board meeting! ur looking good today! peach suits u well! kids say the cutest things. one lil girl was waiting n line w her dad at starbucks and she points at me and asks daddy were is her hair..does she have hair? is she sick?...lol he jsut smiled and picked her up and said look she's wearing a hat. hehe
