More Chick Night style here: Modesty Theory
It's Girl's Nig
ht Out... and what could be more fun than jeans and animal print? My girl's night begins with shopping at some obscure and very hip vintage shops, probably not buying anything, but making a mess of the dressing room! Then it's on to a casual restaurant, somewhere we can hole up in a booth by ourselves and order dishes to share while we chat and gossip! After we've had our fill of something fried it's time to burn it off singing karaoke! In Japan, there are karaoke places that have private rooms for parties of various sizes. You can order drinks and snacks on their menus, or you can sneak in your own! So we would make a quick stop at the 7-11 and load up on soda and tea, then stuff them deep into our handbags.
After singing all our favorites, we'd be getting pretty tired. Time to juice up on caffeine, so we head out to the local cafe and have some lattes and scones, preferably both smothered in chocolate. Once we've closed the place out (unless it's open 24-hours, in which case we'll just head out whenever), we'll go to the video store and find something fun to watch. Instead of something sweet and sappy like a typical chick night, I like to choose some cheesy horror flick, something no one would ever pay real money to see in the theater, but is hilarious when watched in the dark with friends. Then we'd go to one of our houses and watch the flick, eat some popcorn, and relax until it's time to crash.
