Along with a unilateral rejection of turquoise, for some time I also never wore any shade of purple or had any items of a purple color, with the infrequent exception of lavender. But, I have finally in the last three years thrown off this prejudice, and been slowly acquiring purple items. I think the plum shade in particular suits my complexion, so when I had the opportunity, I bought a couple of undercaps in that color. Thanks to Azzah for ordering those for me! This tube underscarf, lace bonnet cap, and star chiffon scarf all came from sunny Malaysia.

it is actually very different from what I would normally wear because I don't like long skirts and almost never wear heels, since I walk about 4km a day going to and from work. But this day I was out and about on my bicycle, and I was lucky enough to find the "perfect" long skirt. More on this marvelous skirt later.
I feel like my poses today are very "model-y" and I'm not sure if I should be happy about that... hehe. I guess my posing ability is getting a little stronger ;)
