Getting geared up for Hijab Fashion Week? Yep, I know I am!
I'm still a relative hijab beginner, so I know how hard it is to come up with new styles, or even to replicate those beautiful styles you see on everyone's lovely blogs! Therefore, I have decided to post here my Top 5 Most Inspirational Tutorials, the videos I've watched over and over and gained inspiration and confidence from. I hope they help you and give lots of sweet ideas for your HFW photos!
Everyone knows Amenakin on YouTube, and you probably subscribe to all her videos. But in case you missed this one, it's a square scarf tutorial that gives the most coverage I've found, and is very interesting and easy. Fast forward to 6mins to skip the makeup part and see just the hijab part.
I stumbled upon this user, and I've never seen her advertised by anyone else, but she should be! She has about 23 videos, most of which use a square hijab. She's incredibly creative, and her styles are totally adorable! You don't need to understand Indonesian to appreciate the simplicity of her tutorial. I just turn the sound off and watch the picture. There literally two dozen videos, but this one is my favorite. If you like it, then check her out! Username is juliasayz.
This girl also has a number of interesting tutorials that literally saved my life this summer when I couldn't figure out how to wrap a chiffon scarf! Some who have been following my blog for a while may remember a post a while back where I did this style, and used a pink button as an accent. (Ringing any bells? No? See it here.) If you like this style, check out her other videos. Username waida5476. (She also has a shop.)
I came across this video recently and totally loved both styles. They aren't difficult to do, but look complicated. (Those are my favorite!) She's pretty new to YouTube, but I hope she keeps posting! Username Zeenakurdi.
And last but not least, my personal hero Hana Tajima-Simpson from StyleCovered. I know I go on and on about her, but this video really did help me develop a new style for wearing pashmina scarves, an important evolving point in my hijab journey. I'll post my variations of this style later on in the month (after HFW). I love this style because you can use a short or long pashmina, the weight of the scarf falls on the neck and shoulders instead of the head so it's good for women with fine or delicate hair, and it's totally hip.
I hope you could get inspired with all these lovely tutorials! Good luck!

I Need Something....
Buy it here! Some of these shops I have ordered from myself, and some I haven't but have heard good things about. If you have used a shop, then please let me know so I can give it a star rating!

Because: HUGE selection (over 1,000 scarves), fast and reasonably-priced international shipping. Has everything a beginner would need, and is always getting new products, including Mona and Kuwaiti hijabs.

Seems to have a good selection of Al-Amira and Spanish-style caps, as well as some interesting bonnets and scarves.

A nice selection of modest clothing, including jilbabs, tops, cardigans, and maxi dresses. Also hijabs of all types. Offers a monthly contest for a free hijab.

Good selection of reasonably-priced hijab scarves, a wide selection of full-coverage underscarves (called Covering Bandannas on the site), bonnets, and the "bulkyjab," a generously-sized scarf for full coverage with lots of fabric to play with. Order within the UK only, because their international shipping rates are outrageous.

Newly launched modest clothing line by hijabi Hana Tajima-Simpson. A basic collection, but bound for great things. Basics of each item your wardrobe requires- skirts, trousers, polo tops, snood caps, dresses. Pre-ordered items shipped quickly, and were very high quality.
